A Tribute to Faith and Cows

My 11-year-old sister Faith gave me these cows for Christmas and my birthday. When I asked her what inspired her purchase she said, "I was walking through the dollar store and said 'that's so Matthew.'" She was right, so now they sit atop my entertainment center (wow, that's such a silly name for a place to put your tv) along with a giant carved elephant my friend Mark brought me back from Vietnam, another smaller carved elephant my friend Tim gave me from India and a 12-inch giant PEZ dispenser that actually dispenses entire packets of the sugar candy.

I'm still working on a name for the bovine trio. I have no idea why the red one has a 7 on its side or why it has eyeglasses on but I think it's my favorite. The middle cow reminds me of a shirt my grandmother used to wear in the summertime, while the black flowered cow makes me want to go to Mexico.
