The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated

Though I've often thought about retiring Mattyaction of late. Too many thoughts. Too little time. See. I can't even write in complete sentences. I never thought working two jobs could take so much out of me, but I also didn't consider that a part-time student life position becomes a cleverly disguised full-time job when people live in your house and wash clothes at all hours and play Halo until 5 a.m. in the room directly above your bed. No regrets here, but I do wonder what normal people live like some days. My body won't hold up for another year of this, but I think I'll be a one full-time job type of guy this time next year.

Seventeen days of no work at either job went by far too fast for my liking when I went back to the office Tuesday. I realized about halfway through the break that I could really get used to not working. Several people expressed concern that I might get depressed or bored during such a long hiatus, and I confess I believed the lies for a few minutes, but I can honestly say that I want to "not work" for a living. Maybe a two-month sabbatical is in order for the summer.

Until then I won't be making any "I'm going to be a better xanga poster in 2006" resolutions that everyone who posts as consistently as me feels pressured into making. I may be tired, but I can still stick it to the man. Xanga, your powers are weak.
