Dive into the mind of a genius

This is my most recent dream...

I'm walking around a wooded area, cursed with lost of boulders clinging a to steep, mountainous landscape. Everywhere there seems to be an easy way down the incline I hit a dead-end, and once I turn around the road back is nearly impossible to manuever.

I finally find what looks to be a passable way, so I begin to climb down these tight crevices and through rocky terrain. After about 10 feet descent, I realize a rubber snake is coiled up in front of me on a rock, and I wonder who the heck would bring a rubber snake out this far into the woods. Undeterred, I continue on 10 feet further and land with a thud in the middle of a small (3-4 feet wide) clearing after throwing myself from a large rock. There is no way further down the mountain from the spot.

When I gather myself and look around I see that I am totally surrounded by snakes. Red snakes, yellow snakes, black snakes, cobras, copperheads, boas. Pretty much every kind of poisonous snake you could imagine. I quickly look about for handholds to use to climb out of the spot, but at every turn I see a snake curled up.

Despair starts to take me, and I begin to plan my futile escape when two snakes make their way toward me, backing me into a corner. At the last second, I see a way out and my mind says 'go for it now or you'll never get out,' but before I can act I feel two pricks, like the pain of a needle drawn out over more than the normal second or two...in my butt.

"Crap, no! Not there," I think to myself. "I've been tricked."

Resolved to escape with some sense of dignity I pull myself out of the situation, dodging numerous serpents, and find myself back in a still futile, yet snake-less, spot. I see that I can potentially get out, but my mind keeps wandering back to my stinging rear. I start to cry, knowing the fate that lies before me.

"Even if I do make it out of here, which is highly unlikely, no one is ever going to want to suck the poison out for me."

The End
